General Terms and Conditions
- The website www.yourmove.lv ("Your Move") is operated and owned by SIA Your Move (registration number 40203124061, legal address Džohara Dudajeva gatve 6-1, Riga, LV-1084). The site design and contents are the property of SIA Your Move covered by copyright.
- Your Move contains a database of employment information (vacancies, employee profiles, and company profiles).
- Users of Your Move are registered or unregistered legal and physical persons who visit the site and use its services (“Users”).
- Your Move provides its services to job seekers free of charge. Employers are charged for the services provided with the exception of special offers, which, solely at Your Move’s discretion, may also include free services.
- Jobseekers and Employers have separate sections in these Terms of Use that are binding to them.
- Users may use the information obtained on Your Move only for the purposes of personnel or job search.
- The user may not reproduce or damage the site and its contents in whole or in part, and may interfere with the operations of Your Move in any way.
- Employers are fully responsible for their compliance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
- Information available on Your Move may be reprinted and only after obtaining permission by e-mail (janis@yourmove.lv).
- Your Move reserves the right to hold Users liable for violating these provisions.
Terms and Conditions for Jobseekers
Users’ Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities
- By entering personal data on the registration page for Your Move, the User receives access to Your Move to use the services of the site.
- The user can choose a username and password (access data) to access the site. The user is obliged to keep the access data in a safe place and report to Your Move by e-mail janis@yourmove.lv any suspicion that the User’s access data have become known to third parties. The User must also change their access data in this case.
- If the User has forgotten their access data, the User may request to be reminded of their access data through the site or by writing to janis@yourmove.lv. Your Move will delete the old access data in this case.
- The User undertakes to submit accurate and timely data on their professional experience, education, skills, certificates, type of work they are looking for, as well as all other aspects related to job search. The User assumes full responsibility for the data submitted.
- The User can sign up to receive alerts on new vacancies that match certain categories or search criteria in their email.
- By creating a profile on the site, the User does not acquire the copyright of any part of Your Move, but the User can both correct their personal data and make them invisible to employers.
- The User assumes full responsibility for any damage caused by copying, damaging or interfering with the operations of Your Move.
- The User has the right to refuse to receive emails containing news updates and information on Your Move and its partners’ services.
- Your Move reserves the right to hold the User liable under law if the User violates these Terms.
Your Move’s Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Your Move sets up user profiles with access data (email, password) entered by the Users following the Users’ requests on the site.
- Your Move stores and arranges personal data submitted by the User, as well as makes them available and searchable to employers.
- Your Move reserves the right to delete data submitted by the User, if there is a reasonable suspicion that they are erroneous, false or contain unethical or indecent information.
- Your Move does not assume responsibility for the User-related activities related to the job search, as well as any responsibility for any agreements or contracts between the jobseeker and the employer.
- Your Move may offer the User information about job posts that the User has not applied to, and Your Move may provide the User’s profile information to Employers whose job posts the User has not applied to but Your Move will not contact the employers on behalf of the User.
- Your Move is not responsible for the privacy and other uses of the Users’ personal data passed onto employers.
- Your Move may inform the User about Your Move and its partners’ news updates, offers, and services via email.
- Your Move may inform the User about the latest vacancies through email alerts created by the User.
- Your Move can transfer User's personal data to databases in other countries.
- Your Move can change the layout of the site and the user interface without prior notice to the User.
- Your Move reserves the right to change these terms at any time. The changes take effect as soon as they are published on the site.
Terms and Conditions for Employers
Employers' Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Employers can create an account on Your Move by entering their email address and a password (access data).
- The Employer may disclose access data to authorized persons only. The Employer must keep the access data in a safe place and report to Your Move (janis@yourmove.lv) upon suspicion that their access data have become known to third parties. The Employer must also change their access data in this case.
- If the Employer has forgotten their access data, the Employer can request to receive them and delete the old access data on Your Move. This can also be done by writing to janis@yourmove.lv.
- After registering and signing up, the Employer can add services to their account by purchasing them or using special offers that include free services. These services can be used for a certain time and/or a certain number of times. The employer may purchase additional services to post additional jobs or extend the access time to the candidate profile database.
- The Employer may change their access data directly on the site, or by writing an e-mail to janis@yourmove.lv.
- The Employer may access Your Move from any computer with an Internet connection.
- The Employer can use the information it has obtained from Your Move solely for the purpose of finding employees. The Employer must obtain permission from Your Move before transferring any data or information available on Your Move to third parties.
- The Employer may not copy or attempt to copy the database of Your Move database entirely or in part, either manually or through computer programs.
- The Employer may only include one job opening in each job posting.
- The job postings submitted by the Employer must comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia as well as the norms of ethics and decency. The Employer is fully responsible for the content of the advertisement.
- The Employer must enter their contact information in the appropriate fields in the job posting form and not in the body of the job posting.
- The Employer may only include their own contact information. The Employer may place third-party contact information in their job posting only with the written permission of Your Move.
- The Employer may republish their job own postings in other media. Your Move has the responsibility to publish the job postings on its own website only.
- If information owned by Your Move is republished in other media without the authorization of Your Move the Employer authorizes Your Move to prevent the use of Your Move’s database without permission.
- The Employer may unilaterally decide to cancel the purchased services if Your Move cannot guarantee the seamless operation of its website by writing to janis@yourmove.lv. In this case, Your Move will refund the unused portion of any services connected to the Employer’s account within ten business days.
- The Employer may unilaterally cancel the services purchased even if there has been no operational fault of Your Move in running the site. In this case, Your Move may not refund the Employer for the portion of unused services.
Your Move’s Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Your Move provides its services upon receipt of payment, except in the case of special offers wherein services are provided free of charge.
- Your Move reserves the right to change the pricing of its services and availability of special offers at any time.
- Upon expiration of the services purchased, Your Move continues to provide the Employer with access to the account so that the Employer can correct the submitted job postings and perform other activities on the site.
- Your Move undertakes to ensure continuous availability of the site. If the site is down for reasons in Your Move’s control, Your Move extends the expiry date for the services connected to the Employer's account for the same amount of time that the site was not available. Your Move informs the Employers about any disruptions to the site.
- Your Move reserves the right to withdraw job postings if they violate these terms, Latvian laws and regulations or norms of ethics and public decency. In such cases, Your Move informs the Employer who then has the right to remedy the deficiencies within two days. Otherwise, the ad may be deleted.
- Your Move can change the site's layout and user interface without prior notice to the Employers.
- Your Move reserves the right to change these terms at any time. The changes take effect as soon as they are published on the site.
- Your Move may provide the Employer with additional services for a separate fee, agreed by both parties.
- Your Move may send e-mails to the Employer containing updates or offers, if the Employer has indicated such a wish. The Employer may opt out from receiving these emails.
- Your Move may terminate the provision of services if the Employer has breached these Terms and has not remedied the breach within five working days of receipt of the notice from Your Move. In this case, Your Move does not offer any refunds.
- Your Move reserves the right to hold Employers liable within applicable laws and to make Employers indemnify Your Move for any damages caused due to the violation of these terms.
- Your Move is not responsible for the content of any job postings created by the Employers or personal information provided by the job seekers, or any damage resulting from this information.
- The Parties are not liable for any outstanding commitments due to force majeure, an event beyond the control of Your Move and the Employers which they could not have foreseen. Upon force majeure conditions, the time limit for the fulfillment of the obligations of the Parties is extended for the duration of force majeure circumstances. If Your Move or the Employers is prevented from fulfilling its obligations by force majeure, Your Move or the Employer will notify in writing the other party. The Parties will strive to prevent any possible losses to the Parties caused by force majeure.
- Your Move and the Employer may terminate their cooperation by mutual written agreement.
- Your Move and the Employers resolve their disagreements by negotiation. If an agreement can not be reached, the dispute shall be settled in the court of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the procedures specified therein.
